Direct Primary Care is a model in which the patient pays their provider/the practice directly on a recurring basis, under terms of a contract, for a defined set of primary care services.
As a direct primary care provider, we focus on you and your health without third party restrictions. We see far fewer patients than a traditional insurance-based practice so we can provide you the best care possible.
Our patient benefits include full access to care without barriers. You will have more time with your doctor, 24/7 access, no co-pays, and no limit on visits. We have negotiated wholesale rates on medication and lab tests, and we pass all those savings straight to you.
We offer high-quality care to kids, adults, and geriatric patients. This includes chronic disease management (diabetes, high blood pressure, etc), well child visits, urgent care, sports medicine, healthy lifestyle changes, well woman exams and annual physicals. We also offer functional medicine visits at an additional fee with a referral from your Mulberry Primary Care Clinician.
Need a visit? Have a sick child? We can usually get you a next-day or same-day appointment, for no extra charge.
Appointments range from 20 minutes up to 90 minutes. Good healthcare takes time.
For example, EKGs, hearing and vision screenings, and spirometry tests are all included in your membership fee. If there is an extra charge for a service, you will know before proceeding. There are special labs and procedures that may require an additional fee. Our members receive a discounted price for these special labs and procedures.
If you require a consultant for specialty medical care, we will work closely with that specialist.
We dispense medications in-house, so we are offering medications to you at discount prices. For nearly all medications, the price we offer is cheaper than your co-pay at a pharmacy. If you take chronic medications, the savings on medication might be greater than your entire membership fee.
We have negotiated great deals with national labs to get your tests done on the cheap. An annual $70 lab allowance for adults is included in your membership fee. You will receive a discounted price on any additional yearly labs your provider requests.
